Marj was born in Lewistown, Montana, and raised on a farm/ranch 40 miles north of there. She has lived in Montana most of her life and moved to Thompson Falls in 1994. This self-taught artist enjoys oils, watercolor, acrylic, ink, pencil and batik. She has been heard to say she will paint on anything that will hold still long enough. So you may see her work on thimbles, saw blades, gold pans, bones, walls, and cars, as well as paper and canvas. “It is so awesome to be blessed with the opportunity to express my interpretation of God’s wonderful creations,” she says. Marj’s images include old cars and trucks in farm and ranch settings.
